The web site present a collection of pictures, maps, books, engravings, and other items collected for an exhibition at the Centro para Estudios Avanzados de Puerto Rico y el Caribe located in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. This exhibition was created by Dr. Ricardo Alegria, the Director of the Centro, to commemorate the invasion of Puerto Rico by the United States. Its purpose is to dispel the myth that Puerto Rico was an uncivilized country.
