Search Tips
- Check your spelling.
- Use significant words. Eliminate noise words such as:
- in English: the, an, about, and, of, or, in, it, with, you, etc.
- in Spanish: de, el, ellos, en, a, con, para, por, sin, y, etc.
- Use words of three characters or more.
- Use quotes around terms to search for an exact phrase.
- Avoid using special characters, punctuation or wildcards
such as %, $, /, #, -, _, \, [, ] and *. Escape to Puerto Rico does not
use wildcards or an asterisk (*) to broaden a search. The system allow
browaden search itself, if you are looking for "casa" the search results
will return: casa, casas, casamiento, casandra, etc.
- Try singular words instead of plural.
- Rephrase your search using synonyms of your search terms.
Browser Errors
Once in a while you'll find that you can't access a particular site.
Your browser may show one of the following error messages:
- DNS Lookup Failed - A DNS (domain name server) Lookup Failed message
indicates that the browser could not contact your domain name server, or
that the domain name server was not aware of the site. Make sure the
domain name is not misspelled.
- File Not Found - The page may no longer exist, or it may have moved
to another address.
- Server Error or Server Busy Error - The computer you're trying to
contact may be offline, may have crashed, or may be busy. You might want
to try again later.
